Day 01.  JAKARTA ARRIVAL – TRANSFER TO BOGOR
Our Guide and private car will meet you at Jakarta’s Soekarno-Hatta International Airport and transfer you to Bogor. This charming city was the capital of Indonesia during the British occupation and is located on the main road between Jakarta and Bandung. Upon arrival at your hotel, check in and enjoy the remainder of today at your leisure. Overnight in Bogor.

Day 02. BOGOR – BANDUNG.
After breakfast, check out of your hotel and set off for an excursion through Bogor and on to Bandung. You’ll begin with a visit to Bogor’s outstanding botanical gardens. Home to more than 15000 species of trees and plants and over 5000 species of orchids, Then visit Bogor’s Presidential Palace, which is noted for its distinctive architecture. Drive along the Puncak Pass to Bandung. Puncak is a mountainous road that takes you past one of the first colonial tea plantations, several scenic rice fields and typical Javanese villages. Then proceed to Tangkuban Perahu, a smouldering 2000 meter wide volcano. Start with a walk around the main crater, Kawah Ratu, and continue with a 30 minute walk to Kawah Domas crater. This intriguing crater features bubbling mud, boiling hot water and hissing sulphur vapour.

Day 03. BANDUNG – GARUT .
This morning after breakfast you’ll explore Bandung. Your city tour starts with a visit to the traditional coffee factory, Kopi Aroma, where you will see the roasting and brewing process of Java’s famous brews.  Then, continue to the temple of Cangkuang in the village of Leles. This small temple is the only Hindu one in West Java and was built during the period of the first Sudanese kingdom. Take a short horse cart ride followed by a bamboo raft across a small lake to reach the temple. Climb a flight of stairs through a grove of old trees to this hilltop temple. Afterwards your local guide will take you on a short one-hour stroll through rice fields and small villages.  late afternoon, check in to a hotel.  Overnight in Garut.

Day 04. GATUR – PANGANDARAN .
This morning transfer to Pangandaran, on the southern coast of Java. After an hour, reach Papandayan volcano where you will take a short walk to the crater. From here, continue through amazing rice terraces to Kampong Naga. Kampong Naga is a traditional Sundanese village on the border of the Ciwulan River. While walking around the village you will see about 100 wooden houses with roofs made of ijuk, sugar palm fiber . Continue by road to Pangandaran, stopping for lunch along the way, late afternoon and Check in to  hotel  in Pangandaran.

Day 05. PANGANDARAN TOUR .
Exploring Pangandaran and its surroundings.  Visit the main fishing village and see how the locals use the native herbs and plants in their cooking and as traditional medicines. Witness the process of making brown sugar as the locals extract nectar from coconut blossoms. Continue visit to the krupuk factory, its a crackers made from fish or shrimp and are an integral part of every Javanese meal. Afternoon trips,  a visit to the jungle-clad headland which is also a national park. You’ll board a small wooden boat to cruise through the park along the Green River Canyon. The river’s emerald green water flows through a stone canyon and after about 15-30 minutes into the journey, the river will narrow and you can go for a swim in the cave. The area is mesmerizing with waterfalls and stalactites around the cave area. Late afternoon back to Hotel.

Day 06. PANGANDARAN – WONOSOBO .
This morning after breakfast you will drive to the harbor at Kalipucang and board a small wooden boat for the trip to Cilacap. The scenic four-hour journey takes you through mangrove forests and along the coast of Nusa Kembangan Island, a national reserve with a high security prison.  Around midday, arrive in Cilacap and have lunch. Continue by car to Wonosobo, a scenic trip of around 3 hours. Meaning ‘gathering place in the forest’, Wonosobo is the gateway to the Dieng Plateau.  Check in to your hotel in Wonosobo, dinner at leisure. Overnight in Wonosobo.

Day 07. DIENG – LOSARI – GEDUNG SONGO TEMPEL – SOLO .
Depart early this morning to visit Dieng Plateau,  observe the volcanic activity of the Dieng Crater and its beautiful, yet poisonous, sulfuric lake. There are 8 Hindu shrines dating from the 7th and 8th centuries which line the crater floor amid sulfurous fumes and rugged natural surroundings.  Then proceed to Ambarawa, an afternoon trips take a walking tour of the Losari Plantation.  Then, amid the plantation, you’ll stop to enjoy a tasting session of Losari’s coffee as well as jamu, Javanese herbal drinks. You will also see the organic vegetables and tropical fruits grown on site.  Continue with an excursion to the nearby Gedong Songo temples complex. This group of small, 8th-century Hindu temples are amongst the oldest in Java. Late Afternoon Drive to Solo for overnight.

Day 08. SOLO – CANDI SUKUH – BLITAR .
Breakfast at your hotel.  visit Mangkunegaran Palace, a repository of classical Javanese art. Built as a palace for a ‘junior’ line of the royal family in the 18th century, the splendid building has an extensive collection of 14th century jewelry, majestic silverworks, traditional Javanese weapons and classical dancing body ornaments.  Afterward,  continue driving to Sukuh temple. The temple is located 910m above sea level on the slopes of Mt Lawu and is surrounded by spectacular scenery. Afternoon journeys  Drive down the mountain and onwards another 5 hours to Blitar. A quiet town in East Java, Blitar is the hometown of Indonesia’s first President, Soekarno. Upon arrival, check-in at Hotel  . This evening is at your leisure.  Overnight in Blitar.

Day 09. BLITAR – CANDI PENATARAN – MALANG – BROMO.
Depart for a morning visit to Penataran, a largest ancient Hindu temple in east Java dating from the Majapahit period. Following your visit, continue by road to Malang. In Malang, embarking on a city tour, visiting the old Dutch buildings a wide, tree-lined streets of the town.   Around 3 PM, travel to Mount Bromo and Check-in to hotel.

Day 10. BROMO TREKKING – TRAVEL TO KALIBARU .
Awake early this morning for a sunrise tour of Mt Bromo. You’ll travel by 4WD jeep to a viewing spot with stunning views of the Bromo volcano and surroundings to enjoy the  sun rise up from behind the volcano in Penanjakan. Continue by jeep down to the volcano caldera, often still covered by mist in the early morning. Continue with trekking to reach the peak of mount bromo crater ans enjoy the view from the top. Later , we back to hotel and  Check out , continue travel to  Kalibaru, a remote area known for its coffee and spice plantations, early this evening and check into your hotel. On the road, we will stop for some visits ( such as  at jember, etc ).

Day 11. KALIBARU PLANTATION TREKKING– TRANSFER TO IJEN.
Spend the morning with a tour of Kalibaru. Visit plantations growing local products such as cacao, coffee, pepper and rubber. Learn about the growing and harvesting processes, using techniques that have been handed down from generation to generation in the area. Finish the morning’s tour with a coffee tasting session.  Return to Margo Utomo hotel for lunch. This afternoon, proceed to Ijen (around 4h drive). Upon arrival, check in to your hotel. Nestled amid vibrant rice fields, surrounded by jungle and woodlands and with Mt Ijen looming in the distance, the location is unbeatable.

Day 12. IJEN TREKKING – TRAVEL TO JOGJA BY TRAIN .
Awake early this morning for an excursion to Mt Ijen and its surroundings. Breakfast is served at the hotel before setting off by 4WD jeep. After a 1.5 hour drive, reach the Paltuding base camp (1850m). The trek to the top is 3 kilometers and follows a wide, packed dirt pathway. At the top of Mt Ijen is a large crater lake surrounded by sulphur mines and during your walk, you will probably encounter men carrying loads of up to 70 kg, often barefooted, down the mountainside.  Upon reaching the top (2385m) there is time to enjoy the views of the crater lake which is 200 meters deep and contains about 36 million cubic meters of steaming, acidic water. Witness the agility and strength of the miners as they collect and carry the sulphur blocks up to the crater rim.  Return via the same route to base camp and continue by road Banyuwangi Train Station for your train to Surabaya connecting train to Jogjakarta. Overnight in train

Day 12. JOGJA ARRIVAL – FULLDAY JOGJA TOUR.
Morning Arrive at   Jogjakarta Train Station. Your guide and private car will meet you and transfer you to your hotel in Jogjakarta for check-in.  Despite the official spelling of ‘Yogyakarta’ this town is usually pronounced and often written Jogjakarta or simply Jogja. It is the most popular tourist destination on Java, largely thanks to its proximity to the temples of Borobudur and Prambanan. Jogja is a center of art and education and the cradle of traditional Javanese culture After freshening up, you will have the time to have lunch (at leisure) before setting off on an afternoon excursion. This evening, you’ll be treated to a performance of traditional Ramayana Dances while dining at a local restaurant. Overnight in Yogyakarta.

Day 13. JOGJA – CANDIREJO – BOROBUDUR .
Today you will have the chance to learn more about Jogjakarta’s historic and cultural traditions with a half-day city tour. Start with a visit to the Sultan’s Palace, also known as ‘Kraton’. This building, built between 1756 –1790, is a fine example of traditional Javanese sultanate architecture. As you walk through the various rooms and chambers, you will learn more about this aspect of Javanese heritage and culture.You’ll also visit the adjacent ‘Taman Sari’, water palace and garden. This addition to the royal complex was built over 200 years ago by the first Sultan with bathing pools for his harem. Lunch in a local restaurant in JogjakartaNext, you’ll get a taste for local life with a horse cart ride through Candirejo village. Known as a dokar, the local horse cart will take you through this peaceful, charming village. You’ll travel along small lanes lined with traditional houses and stop to see village activities such as making cassava crackers, playing the gamelan and harvesting and drying of vanilla and chili. Continue with a visit to Mendut and Pawon temples, nearby Borobudur. Older than Borobudur, this pyramid-shaped temple houses three impressively carved stone statues. Overnight in Borobudur.

Day 14. BOROBUDUR SUNRISE TOUR – FREE PROGRAM.
An early trips, enjoy sunrise on the borobudur temples . Discover the temples with 3 hours trips around this amazing place. Then Back to Hotek in borobudur area, and free program till end of the day.

Day 15. JOGJA – DEPARTURE – ENDED .
